CI Global Investments Inc. is an investment adviser registered with the SEC, founded in February 1997. The firm acts as a portfolio sub-advisor to CI Investments Inc., managing investment portfolios of certain pooled investment vehicles for Canadian investors. CIGI has full discretion over investment decisions within the parameters set by each Fund's investment policy. As of December 31, 2024, CIGI managed approximately US $11.4 billion of assets on a discretionary basis. The firm's fees are negotiated with CI Investments Inc. and are generally charged monthly based on total expenses plus a 10% markup. CIGI does not charge performance fees or engage in side-by-side management. The firm's investment strategies involve fundamental research and valuation analysis to assess growth and value potential, focusing on factors like cash flows, balance sheets, management quality, and growth prospects. CIGI acknowledges the risk of loss in investing and does not guarantee future results. The firm does not have custody of the Funds' assets, and all securities are held with a qualified custodian. CIGI has full discretionary authority over managing the Funds' portfolios and exercises this authority in line with the Funds' investment objectives and restrictions. The firm does not receive compensation for referrals or engage in soft dollar arrangements. CIGI's employees are required to follow a Code of Conduct and Personal Trading Policy to mitigate conflicts of interest. Voting of Fund securities is done in the best interests of the Funds, following CII's Proxy Voting Policy.
